Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Not at all. To receive rate quotes, you just supply six pieces of information: your gender, date of birth, self-assessed health status, tobacco use, the coverage amount you want, and your desired policy term. Your name, full address, and detailed medical information aren't requested unless you decide to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The amounts shown represent what each carrier would charge for the health classification tier you picked. After you submit an application, the carrier performs its underwriting and may confirm that classification, move you to a better one, or assign a different one. These quotes are for reference only and don't represent a guarantee or formal offer.

What happens when I click Apply?

You'll enter your name, and your selected quote details populate an application on the carriers' secure system. The process lets you save your spot and come back later if needed, and everything gets signed electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, operating as a licensed California agent (License 0B75129), manages the complete application.

Will I need a medical exam?

This depends on which carrier you select, the coverage amount you're requesting, and your health answers. Some carriers can issue policies right away for qualified applicants without requiring an exam; others might need one. Every quote you see will specify the exam requirements for that specific product.

Is a longer term better?

Longer terms cover extended periods when your family would face hardship if your income disappeared—think mortgages, children in school, or business debts. Extending the term raises the monthly cost but locks that price in for much longer. The tool lets you run side-by-side comparisons across 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 year options.

Does this site sell my information?

We don't collect or sell visitor information. Contact information isn't gathered for quotes. We use cookieless analytics that respect Do Not Track requests. Check the privacy page for specifics on what data gets collected and by whom.
